1. Download the Halo Connect app from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Log in to create your Captain account.
3. Follow the on-screen prompts to add an Explorer profile for your child.
4. Bring the Halo Lytt close to your phone — the app will discover it automatically.

Yes. The Halo Connect app features a robust Family Graph. As the Captain (Parent/Admin) you have full administrative access — create multiple Explorer profiles and pair multiple Halo Lytt devices to monitor every child from a single dashboard. Each Explorer only sees their own profile and data.

The Halo Lytt is a distraction-free, screenless wearable. The single side button is tied to our haptic vibration system. If you trigger "Find my device" from the Halo Connect app, the band will vibrate — pressing the button stops the vibration.

Don't worry — the Halo Lytt has a built-in Offline Mode. If the device disconnects from your phone or the internet, it securely buffers up to 7 days of vital health data. Once the connection is restored, it automatically syncs in the background with no data loss.

We use a proprietary Halo algorithm to process the continuous data gathered by the device. It analyses five key metrics — Sleep, Stress, Heart Rate, Temperature, and Activity — to generate simple, actionable scores for your Explorer on the dashboard.

The Halo Connect app monitors key vitals every 5 minutes. If a threshold is crossed (for example, Heart Rate over 120 bpm for 2+ minutes, or an elevated Temperature), a push notification is sent instantly to the Captain to ensure your Explorer's safety.
